Process
How we work, from the free review to the monthly reporting rhythm. Including when we say no.
Why this page exists
Most agency relationships fail in month one.
Not because of the work. Because nobody wrote down what success looks like, so two months later the client and the agency are measuring different things and both feel let down.
This is how we avoid that. It is not complicated, and every step is visible to you.
The five steps
From first message to monthly rhythm
The free review
You send what you have. We spend real time on it and send back a written review of what we would change and in what order. You keep it whether or not you hire us, and there is no call required to receive it. Typically two to four working days.
A conversation about the number
One call, thirty minutes. We agree the single metric that decides whether this worked, and a realistic timeline for moving it. If we do not believe we can move it, we say so here rather than after you have paid.
The proposal
Written scope, a fixed monthly fee, what is included, what is not, and what we need from you. No percentage of ad spend. No fee that grows when we spend more of your money.
Foundation, then growth
The first cycle fixes what is broken before anything gets scaled. Listings before ads. Technical SEO before articles. Positioning before posting. This order is not negotiable, because reversing it wastes your budget.
Monthly reporting and review
A short report in plain language: what we did, what moved, what did not, and what changes next month. Every number comes from a dashboard you can open yourself.
Commitment
How long you are tied in
The first cycle is usually three months, because almost nothing in marketing produces a readable signal in less time. Judging SEO or a content calendar after four weeks tells you nothing.
After that it is month to month. Thirty days notice, no exit fee, and you keep every asset we made. A client who stays because leaving is expensive is not a client we want.
Your side
What we need from you
- Account access with the right permissions, never your password
- Honest numbers on margin and what an enquiry is worth to you
- One person who can approve things without a committee
- A response time of a few days on approvals, so work does not stall
- The bad news as well as the good, when something changes on your side
Honesty
When we say no
The margin does not support it
If ad spend plus our fee eats the entire margin, the campaign cannot win. We would rather tell you than take the retainer.
The product needs work first
Marketing accelerates whatever is already true. If reviews say the product has a problem, fixing that beats any campaign.
The timeline is not realistic
If you need results in three weeks and the honest answer is six months, we will tell you which channel can actually do that, even if it is not one of ours.
Someone else is a better fit
If your need sits outside what we do properly, we will say so. Taking work we are not right for damages both sides.
Step one is free.
Send us what you have. You get a written review of what we would fix first, with no obligation and no call needed.
